We are excited to welcome Jane Hill onto the Valley House Board of Trustees. In the dynamic landscape of community services, individuals like Jane bring invaluable expertise and a deep-rooted passion for fostering positive change. Jane’s journey from her beginnings in nurse training to her current role as Clinical Director in the local NHS Community, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Trust is a testament to her dedication and commitment to serving her community.

Jane’s connection with Valley House traces back to her formative years as a Health Visitor, where she first encountered our impactful work. Over the years, she has worked in a range of clinical, leadership, and management roles, primarily within community and primary care services. Her work has been characterised by a steadfast focus on enhancing services to support children, young people and families whilst collaborating closely with system partners to effect positive change.

One of Jane’s distinguishing credentials is her accreditation as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor, coupled with her status as a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership. Her expertise extends beyond the confines of healthcare, as she actively contributes to the development of future leaders through coaching engagements with the Institute of Leadership and NHS Leadership Academy. Additionally, her involvement as a school governor underscores her holistic approach towards community betterment.

At the heart of Jane Hill’s professional ethos lies a fervent belief in the power of community-based services to uplift individuals, families, and communities alike. Her specific interest in staff learning, development, and wellbeing underscores her proactive stance towards nurturing a supportive and resilient workforce.

As Jane joins the Valley House Board, she brings with her a wealth of experience, a diverse skill set, and an unwavering commitment to driving positive change.
