The Wellbeing Action Plan (WAP)

We’re excited to introduce a new tool to help our staff, thrive at work: the Wellbeing Action Plan (WAP)!

The WAP is designed tobe a personalised guide to help our staff’s wellbeing. It’s a simple, practical way to Understanding and maintain staff wellbeing by Learning how to manage stress, find work-life balance, and prioritise their mental and physical health as well as what energises them and what their strength are.

How it Works:

  • During their next Performance Development Review (PDR), we’ll work together to complete their WAP.
  • It’s all about our staff, they will take the lead in identifying their wellbeing goals and how to achieve them.
  • Open and honest conversations: The WAP provides a framework for open and honest discussions with their manager about their wellbeing.

Benefits of Using the WAP:

  • Improved wellbeing: By actively managing their wellbeing, we strive to make our staff feel happier, healthier, and more energised at work.
  • Increased productivity: When you’re well, you’re more focused and productive.
  • Reduced stress and anxiety: The WAP helps identify and address potential stressors.
  • Support for neurodiverse colleagues: We understand that everyone has different needs and preferences. The WAP is adapted to support neurodiverse colleagues.
